PMA is on call 24/7 for medical emergencies. This is a free service to the people of Palau. We work together with the Department of Health who dispatches the flight.
On occasion, especially during bad weather, PMA has received calls to search for local fishermen or divers lost at sea. As part of our service to the islands, we are "on call" for these situations and charge only a minimum fee to cover our fuel. We are dispatched by the Marine Law enforcement as their eye-in-the-sky while they use boats on the surface.
Every Saturday, the pilot parks the plane in Angaur and meets with a small group of people for a devotional. Our Church also brings Church worker who leads a children's ministry.
On Saturdays when the plane flies to Angaur, one of our PMF church workers joins the flight and conducts a children's ministry with the young kids who wish to join. These faithful servants have worked hard to make an event that the kids look forward to each weekend.
